Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of assembly workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance and collaboration.
Manage and monitor assembly processes, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reductions.
Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly area.
Enforce quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed specifications.
Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during the assembly process.
Conduct training sessions for assembly team members, ensuring that all staff are well-versed in assembly procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Effectively allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, to meet production goals.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, production rates, and quality control metrics.
Generate reports as needed.
Enforce safety regulations and best practices to create a safe working environment.
Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
