Training Specialist

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their full-time Maintenance Training Specialist position in the Office of Georgia Quick Start.
This position is located at the TCSG Georgia Quick Start Office in the Savannah, Georgia.
Responsibilities:
Under minimal supervision and working within general guidelines, the incumbent performs duties following innovative methods as a Maintenance Training Specialist.
Responsibilities include expanding your manufacturing technology knowledge and innovating learning methods to enhance Georgia's Maintenance Technician workforce.
Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple manufacturing technology-based training assignments.
Travel within Georgia and occasional travel outside of Georgia may be necessary.
DUTIES:
Provides classroom and hands-on lab instruction.
Assists in developing new course content for Industry 4.
0 technology following Quick Start practices.
Assists in designing and assembling new Industry 4.
0 technology level training systems.
Performs periodic on-site client training need assessments.
Works with other instructors and leadership to ensure consistent methods and standards are maintained.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
An Associate degree in a technical field and three years of experience.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Five years of experience.
Experience with PLC systems and/or Robotics.
Six Sigma certification.
Experience in advanced manufacturing technology disciplines such as machine and batch process, operation, and troubleshooting.
